We specialize in helping new alpaca breeders realize their dreams.Take advantage of our relaxed approach, no pressure sales and ongoing support. Many of our alpacas have been born and raised on our farm, resulting in a friendly demeanor. We don't mean to brag but we have been told just how well behaved our alpacas are.

Take advantage of our experience. We purchased our first alpacas in 2005. Since that time, we have successfully grown our herd from two bred females and one gelding to a full herd of quality apalcas. We are very proud of our prize winning breeding males and wide selection of breeding females.

Select from a variety of quality alpacas. At River Mist Farm Alpacas, our selective breeding program producess quality alpacas that exhibit strong confirmation and excellent fleece characteristics. Through our breeding and nutrition program our goal is to produce alpaca fleece with fineness and character.

Award winning, champion herdsires available for breeding to your female alpacas. Our herdsires, HAAF Accoyo Franz, Express' Peruvian Winston and Standing Ovation are proven winners at major shows. They represesent a variety of quality bloodlines including El Mustachio and Peruvian Felix, CPeruvian Accoyo Express and Victor.

River Mist Farm Alpacas serves Albemarle County, Greene County, Nelson County, Orange County, Central Virginia, Southwestern Virginia, Northern Virginia, and Virginia's Eastern Shore.

We supply our alpacas with top quality supplemental feed, fiber nutrients and minerals to support advanced nutrition and fiber care.
