Its a great time to be an alpaca at River Mist Farm in Stanardsville, Virginia. Located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and just minutes from Charlottesville, Virginia, we enjoy beautiful mountain views and green pastures filled with sweet orchard grass.

It's also the time for fall alpaca births. We are expecting four more cria here at River Mist Farm, in addition to the three young ones born in the spring.

Nicole is a lovely, young full Peruvian beige female alpaca. Nicole placed 2nd of 12 in the Huacaya Halter Class at VAOBA Expo in Lexington, Virginia.

Her uniform crimp, density and lustre are show stoppers. We can't wait to begin her breeding career.
